My rafting experience is limited but I am always looking for cold clear rivers with waterfalls and not many people. I'm in Washington, Tri Cities. Went to Packwood last year, hated the crowds. Love Entiat and Silver Falls in Wenatchee National Forest. It takes skill, high energy, agility and nerve to do what you guys and gals do. Wish I had the time and nerve. I enjoyed rafting on the Salmon river in Idaho with the sandy beaches, and being down in the canyon out of Riggins. I like the Wenatchee area rivers for cold clear water. I love the Chelan area. Hate the Columbia River, yuck, just too ugly. I thought some of the rivers in Oregon were kinda mucky with moss when I visited Granite last year near those old gold mines. Loved the Lamont Hot springs. Your site has so much detail and so well written. How do you have time when you are out there doing all that stuff too? What rivers do you like for camping and getting away from it all? ThanksAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
