Table Rock

Table Rock is the closest wilderness area to where I live. I have hiked it multiple times and April is my favorite month to climb Table Rock. The road to the trail head is usually open and most of the upper section is still under snow. This provides for easy cross country travel and the opportunity for a little glisading. We also use this same hill for ice ax practice as it's relatively safe and a significant grade. It's a close option to brush up on some skills before any spring climbing trips. This trip brought Dan, Todd, and Ben out to Table Rock. It was a fun day and some great ice ax practice.
